【本紹介】がん ある完全治癒の記録／アンソニー・J・サティラロ著 〜その1〜
この本は、癌にかかった著者がマクロビオティック食を通して、癌が消えていく様を詳細に語ってくれているものなのですが、
この著者は医師で、マクロビオティックという医学的に説明のつかないものに疑惑の目を持ちながらも始め、実践していくことで体から不調が消え、
癌までも消えてしまった…という事実を冷静な目線で、順を追って事細かに記してくれている貴重な本です。
ただ、先に言わせてもらいますが、マクロビオティックは癌や病気を治すためのものではありません。
自然と調和していくことで、心身も調和したものになっていき、その過程・結果として、体があるべき正常に戻ることで病気が消える、といったものです。
この著者も、手術・ホルモン治療・心の持ち方、そしてマクロビオティック、そのどれかひとつが働いたことによって癌が消えたと結びつけず、客観性を持って語っておられます。
では、病気の経過を大まかに見ていった後、詳しく見ていきます。
まず1978年6月、47歳で癌の宣告を受けたわけですが、その時の体の状態として、
2年前から背部痛によって大量の鎮痛剤を服用しており、1年前からは血清肝炎で肝機能異常があったということです。
で、癌の話に戻りますが、見つかった癌は第4期、ステージDの前立腺癌で、頭蓋骨・肩甲骨・脊椎骨・胸骨・肋骨への転移がみられるといったものでした
そしてすぐに除睾術をおこないました。
これは今はどうか分かりませんが、当時の前立腺癌の標準的な治療手段で、エストロゲン投与と併用しておこなうそうです。
で、6週間経っても痛みは緩解しなかったため、7月、エストロゲン療法を開始しました。
そして9月、マクロビオティック食を開始します。
で、約2週間後、感冒かインフルエンザの徴候が1週間ほど出ました
これは、体が陰陽のバランスを回復しかけた時に、長い時間をかけて作られた毒成分を少しでも早くたくさん排出しようとして起こる調整の病気です。
そしてその症状が1週間ほどで消えていった後の9月26日、朝起きると、背部痛が消えていた
そして11月には、約20年間悩まされていた慢性の腸障害、特に慢性下痢症がなくなった
で、12月、エストロゲン療法で増えていた体重が急激に減り始めた、とのことで、
普通、癌患者の体重減少は癌の進行と関連づけられるので、心配になって血液検査を受けますが、癌の進行を示すデータは出てこなかった
そして12月下旬、チキンを食べましたら、その後2日間、嘔吐、下痢、疼痛、悪心、しかも背部痛まで再発してしまいました
これは癌の潜伏期間が過ぎた癌が活性化しているのでは？と不安に思いましたが、著者のマクロビオティックの相談を受けていたデニーは、膀胱経の閉塞からくるもので、癌が消退し始めていると判断
しかし検査して確かめずにはいられないということで、1月下旬に血液検査、肝機能検査を行いましたが、
血中アルカリフォスファターゼ値、GOT、GPTの値が劇的にほぼ正常値へと変化
数値の詳細を見てみますと、癌発覚直前の結果は、血中アルカリフォスファターゼは69、この（）内が正常値で9～35、GOTは100、正常値が13～40、GPTは273、正常値が13～40と、とても高いものでしたが、
この時の検査、癌発覚から約8ヵ月、マクロビオティック開始から約5ヵ月ですが、血中アルカリフォスファターゼが36、GOTが21、GPTが27と、血中アルカリフォスファターゼが1オーバーしているだけという、ほぼ正常値へと変化していました
しかしすぐの2月初旬、急に多尿し、腰痛が始まり、腎結石を排出
でもこれもマクロビオティックでは、奥のほうから治ってきているという徴候、何年来、腎臓自体に蓄積されていた毒成分が排出されていると見ます
そして4月半ば、再び血液と肝機能の検査を行うが正常
6月中旬には、エストロゲンの服用を中止
8月中旬、再び検査をしますが、GOTは28、GPT43、LDHは0.7で、ほんの僅かに上昇しただけで、癌の存在を示す数値ではなかった、とのことです
そしてついに9月27日、再び骨スキャン・X線撮影をしますと、癌が消えていた
しかし4ヵ月後の1980年2月から具合が悪くなり始めまして…4月に甲状腺炎と診断
ま、この原因は1月から玄米以外の料理にも圧力釜を使い、体が陽性に傾き過ぎたせいなんですが…
で、癌が再発したんじゃないか？ということで骨スキャン・X線撮影をしますが、癌の影は無し
甲状腺の治療のためにインデラル、コーチゾン、時にペルタゴンの服用
そして8月、甲状腺炎が治癒し、治療剤の服用も終了
しかし9月末、背部痛が再発
で、10月、骨スキャンをしてみますと、右肋骨の一点に異常が発見されてしまいます
しかし久司道夫さんは、その影を腫瘍の兆しではなく、夏の間に服用していた薬物、この甲状腺治療のために服用していた薬物を体が排出しようとしている証拠と判断しました
そして12月27日、骨スキャン・X線撮影をしますと、右肋骨に見られた影は明らかに縮小
そして1981年8月、骨スキャンしますと、その影も消え、癌の徴候は全く無し
…といった感じで、1978年6月の癌宣告から、1981年8月までの約3年間が語られています。
薬の服用状況や、調整の病気なども細かに書かれているものとなっています。
ストーリー的に言いますと、まず自転車通勤中に、交差点から飛び出てきた人をかわして転倒した際に右鼠蹊部を打ち、X線撮影したところ、左胸に大きな塊が見られたことから骨スキャンすることになり、癌が発覚することになったり、
マクロビオティックをやってみることになった最初のきっかけは2人のヒッチハイカーを乗せたところから始まるのですが、
それは癌で亡くなってしまった父の埋葬を済ませたその帰り道だったり、
甲状腺炎の前に具合が悪くなり始めた時、陽性に偏ってしまったせいで「マクロビオティックなど真赤な嘘っぱちだと思ってる」と苛立って怒鳴り散らしたり…
あとは…
ワカメやヒジキなどの海草を食べ慣れてない外国人の率直な味の感想だったり…
