被ばく予防にマクロビオティックを

 

マクロビオティックには「陰陽」という考え方があります。（食だけではなく、あらゆることについて）

 

食事、健康の面では、

陰性が強いもの（砂糖、清涼飲料水、アルコール、アイス、熱帯性の果物、香辛料など）、

陽性が強いもの（食塩、肉、卵、チーズ、魚介など）を避け、

どちらにも偏り過ぎていない中庸のもの（全粒穀物、海藻類、豆類、温帯性の野菜など）でバランスを保つ。

では…なぜ被ばく予防にマクロビオティックなのかと言いますと、ストロンチウム、コバルト、セシウムなどは全て極端な陰性です。

ですので、陽性を少し多めに意識することによってその害を中和、軽減できるものと考えられます。

1945年の長崎の原爆で自らも被爆しながらも、被爆者の治療にあたった秋月辰一郎博士が、甘いもの（砂糖）をとらせずに、塩をつけて握った玄米飯に濃い味噌汁を飲むように命じ、それを実行した人達は重い原爆症が出現せず、命を落とさずに済んだ…という有名な話は聞いたことがある人もいるでしょう。

成分の研究結果から見ますと…
味噌が放射能の害を防御するということを、マウスを使った実験ですが実証してくれた研究。（広島大学原爆放射線医学研究所の渡邊敦光名教授）マウスを使った実験を繰り返し、味噌の放射性物質に対する効果を研究し、外部被曝、内部被曝ともに防護効果があることを確認。

10％の味噌を加えた餌と、そうでない餌を１週間マウスに与え、強い放射線を浴びせた。3日半後に消化器官で最も放射線への感受性が高い小腸を調べると、味噌を含んだ餌を食べたマウスだけに小腸の細胞の再生が見られた。また、1週間味噌を食べさせたマウスにヨウ素131とセシウム137を投与し、強い放射線を照射する実験の結果、血液中のヨウ素は6時間で大幅に減少。セシウムは普通の餌を投与したマウスと違いはなかったが、雌の筋肉では3日後に減少した。

また、味噌の産地や素材を変えた実験もされ、唯一差が出たのは熟成期間の違い。熟成期間が長い味噌を食べたマウスほど、小腸の傷も少なく、生存日数も増加したという結果で、熟成段階で生まれるメラノイジンという物質が、放射線防護効果がある成分の一つかもしれないとのこと。（メラノイジン…アミノ酸と糖質が結合してできる物質で、強い抗酸化作用を持っている)

しかし、放射線の照射直後に味噌を与えた場合は効果が見られなかったため、防護効果を高めるにはやはり日頃から味噌を食べていることが重要。

 

玄米について

カドミウムに汚染された米を食べても、それが玄米である限り、カドミウムは体に残らないで排泄されるという研究が発表されたり、（逆に白米の場合は、ほとんど排泄されず体内に残ってしまう事も確認）

玄米中に含まれるフィチン酸の解毒作用で、原爆のストロンチウム90と、このフィチン酸が結合して体外に出す、

…というような実例がたくさん出た事から、群馬大学の小川教授がストロンチウムと玄米、梅干、味噌との関わりを研究。その結果、玄米のフィチン酸とストロンチウムが結合するメカニズム、それに梅干のクエン酸が加わると、大きな結合で見事に排泄することが分かった。（化学的に合成したクエン酸では逆に全く排泄しなかったとのこと。）

 

味噌汁の具に用いられる海藻について

よく食べられる海藻には放射能を発するストロンチウムをつかまえて体外に排出する働きを持つ多糖物質（大西洋岸と太平洋岸でとれた昆布、ケルプをはじめとする褐藻類から抽出されたアルギン酸ナトリウムという物質）が含まれている。（1960と70年代にカナダのマギル大学の科学者達が報告）

是非とも、玄米、海藻の入った味噌汁、梅干などの日本の伝統食…マクロビオティック食で健康を、調和した体と心を！！
